Purdue Well Off Pace At NCAA Golf Championships

Purdue had a rough second round at the NCAA Championships.

Weather and, well, poor golf were the twin nemeses for Purdue and the NCAA golf championships today in Hutchinson, Kansas. Purdue completed a +9 second round and were +10 for the third round through seven holes before weather delayed things for the day.

Purdue had a total score of +25 and was in 25th place, well off the top eight spots to qualify for the match play portion of the championship. UCLA at+3 held the eighth and final place. Purdue’s scores were at least consistent. Philippe Schweizer led Purdue with a +2 overall and was in 40t place individually.
