Friday's rain in Hutchinson, Kansas has messed up the NCAA championships and their schedule a little. Some of the teams were able to get through two rounds on Saturday, while Purdue was part of a group of teams that has only completed one round and will begin round 2 at 7am Sunday.

Purdue had a decent day, shooting a solid +6 as a team, but it is only good enough for a tie for 18th place with Florida State an UAB. It is a tight grouping so far. Purdue is just 18 shots behind leader Stanford, who has run out to an 8-shot lead with a -12 having played two full rounds so far.

Purdue needs to move up the leaderboard a few spots, as the magic place is 8th place. The top 8 teams after three rounds move on to the match play tournament. Purdue is currently 10shots off that pace, but they have two full rounds to make up ground.

Philippe Schweizer is leading Purdue so far with a -2 for the tournament, which has him in a tie 29th individually, just five shots off the overall lead. Adam Schenk is at even par.
