Purdue has one only once at the arena named after a crappy furniture store, but it came during a Big Ten championship season, so it was worth it. A victory today would not help int hat regard, but it would certainly turn the fortunes of a team that needs to finish strong in order to have any hope beyond the NIT. It would also be helpful for Big Ten Tournament seeding, as Purdue not THAT far out of a by to Friday in Indianapolis.
Maybe the Boilers hit a turning point some time in the third overtime this week. Who knows. If they can get this one things get very interesting with the next two games at home after a week off.
