Seasons are winding down for the four signed and committed players for next year's basketball team. Here is how all four did since the last update:
Dakota Mathias - G - Elida HS, Elida, OH - Dakota's team plays tonight against Bellefontaine, but he earned two more victories this past weekend with an 89-69 win over Ottawa-Glandorf and a 70-69 win over Lima Central Catholic. Dakota had 38 Friday night against Ottawa-Glandorf and became the all-time leading scorer at his school Saturday night:
Vince Edwards - F - Middletown HS, Franklin, OH - It was a Tuesday-Friday week for Edwards and both games were wins. In a 62-48 win over Colerain last Tuesday Edwards had 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists with three blocks. In the 62-52 win over Hamilton on Friday Edwards had a double-double of 20 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists. He also has video:
Jacquil Taylor - F - Cambridge, MA, Beaver Country Day School - Weather had caused a lot of problems for Jacquil's team, as they only played Thursday in a 57-18 win against Landmark. Once again, stats could not be found.
Isaac Haas - C - Piedmont, AL, Hoke's Bluff HS - Hoke's Bluff closed out the regular season on Friday with a 54-33 win over Jacksonville, which comes with highlights:
Last night he had 32 points, seven rebounds, and seven blocks in a 63-40 win over Alexandria Central. On the season Haas has 584 points in 25 games.
