Purdue Football Recruiting: Who wants who we have (potentially)?

New, 67 comments

Who else wanted our verbal commitments?

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Concerns have been raised over Purdue's current recruiting. Specifically, people want to know if Purdue is simply picking up kids that otherwise would be paying their way to State (whichever state) U and dominating flag football for the next 4 years. ThelegendofShawnMcCarthy is here to assure you that other teams want what we got, but they ain't gettin em. I will provide this in chart form for all you chart loving engineers out there (talking to you Dad). All info is from 24/7, but you will find other offers on the Rivals and ESPN sites. "Offers" are an inexact science and are reported differently from site to stie.

Again, I just want to warn you, more goes into "offers" than just a school's evaluation of a player. For instance, Markell Jones doesn't have an "offer" from any Big 10 school, but I'm betting very few would hang up on Markell if he called and inquired about playing. I'm willing to bet there would also be several ACC, Big 12, SEC, Pac 12 that would quickly accept a Jones offer if he called and inquired. If you don't think there are schools in every conference that would take Sindelar, you're not paying attention. "Offers" may not be the best way to evaluate players, but it was requested, and ThelegendofShawnMcCarthy is a man of the people.
