The men's team is not the only team gaining commitments today, as Sharon Versyp is expected to ink one of the top recruiting classes in 2015 for women's basketball. The first on the board is Dominique McBryde of Bedford North Lawrence HS in Indiana:

McBryde is an excellent pickup for coach Versyp. She is a 5-star recruit rated 97 of out 100 according to ESPN as a 6'1" forward. She is the No. 28 prospect in the country and this is what ESPN has to say about her:
Efficient perimeter prospect with quick first-step attack, drives and finishes in traffic; active on glass, battles on the boards; range to the arc; among the most versatile perimeter prospects in the class of 2015.
Her team starts the 2014-15 season as the No. 1 rated team in Class 4A (Indiana's largest) and as the two-time defending state champion. With McBryde (and under all-time Indiana leading scorer Damon Bailey) BNL was 27-1 last season. before that, under Kurt Godlevske, they were 28-0 in 2012-13 and 23-3 in 2011-12, meaning with McBryde for three years she is an impressive 78-4. Last season their lone loss was to Lawrence North, which they later avenged in the semi-state in overtime.
