After beating the worst team in the Big Ten (and yes, Illinois has to be the worst in the Big Ten) Purdue's reward is a home game against the top dogs in the conference. Michigan State is coming off of a big home victory against previously unbeaten Nebraska and has decent hopes of still making the College Football Playoff. Last season the Boilers went to East Lansing and pushed a stronger Michigan State team before losing 14-0. The Boilers missed a pair of field goals and gave up a defensive touchdown, so they at least gave the Spartans a good game.

With Purdue on a high after finally getting a Big Ten win and Michigan State coming off of a hyped home night game maybe a letdown is in order.
