Yesterday's game was a fun one to follow on Twitter. There were plenty of highs and lows, but ultimately lows because of the way it ended. At the very least, the In Tweets feature should show that the Boilers are gaining respect in the Big Ten.
@HammerAndRails we're a lot more dangerous than people thought. No more doormat.

Minnesota makes it two B1G games opening with interceptions on the first play. #B1G
— Chris Vannini (@ChrisVannini) October 18, 2014
Appleby getting his interceptions out of the way early, I guess.
— Juan Crespo (@Air_Force_Juan) October 18, 2014
Here's video evidence of @BoilerFootball WR Danny Anthrop's speed. http://t.co/xTXUX39pZy

@HammerAndRails defense needs help. Like 14 players on the field and 10 in the box
— Not John Shoop (@ThatShoopGuy) October 18, 2014
This is a scheduled tweet. RT @TomFornelli: David Cobb just running dudes over.
— Chris Vannini (@ChrisVannini) October 18, 2014
@HammerAndRails he will be able to run only so much before he is worn down
— boilergrad (@sean92672) October 18, 2014
Never underestimate Purdue's ability to give up a 1st down on 3rd and long
— Beneath The Paint (@BeneathThePaint) October 18, 2014
If you weren't sold on what #Purdue offense did against #Spartans last week, it's doing it again vs. another solid defense.
— Brent Yarina (@BTNBrentYarina) October 18, 2014
I like me some Austin Appleby.
— Ryne Smith (@RyneSmith_) October 18, 2014
@PURDUE_RANT @HammerAndRails FACT: Shoop calls a completely different game with Appleby, completely suited to him. And so far, it's working.
— Bobloblaw_19 (@Bobloblaw_19) October 18, 2014
Haas in middle of FT... HUGE ROAR FOR @BoilerFootball touchdown! Drilled FT.
— Purdue Basketball (@BoilerBall) October 18, 2014
Purdue's offense is giving me hope, only to have Purdue's defense take it away immediately.
— John (@jberlako) October 18, 2014
That missed extra point is worth 1/8 of a turnover. Here we come!
— Ross MacLochness (@RossMacLochness) October 18, 2014
I like to spend my recruiting evaluating goal posts. I believe the right ones give us our best chance to win - Danny Hope, probably #Purdue
— Bobloblaw_19 (@Bobloblaw_19) October 18, 2014
You can take running shot at a guy's head, but don't you DARE line up with a 5th guy kinda in the backfield.
— Ross MacLochness (@RossMacLochness) October 18, 2014
@HammerAndRails What was that weird formation Minnesota was just in! Oh wait, they were just punting...
— Keith Lewis (@cinciboiler) October 18, 2014
At least MSU made Purdue use both halves to get to 31 points.
— KJ (@KJatTOC) October 18, 2014
31 points in the first half? "#Shoop #shoop ba-doop #Shoop ba-doop #Shoop ba-doop ba-doop ba-doop"
— Ryne Smith (@RyneSmith_) October 18, 2014
envious of purdue
— mgoblog (@mgoblog) October 18, 2014
The Hazell hater camp seems to be having a moment of silence. Was there a tragedy I wasn't aware of?
— John (@jberlako) October 18, 2014
Crazy: #Purdue has scored 100 points in the last 2.5 games. It scored 104 in eight #B1G games last season.
— Brent Yarina (@BTNBrentYarina) October 18, 2014
Let's check in on Minnesota, losing to Purdue... RT @BenjaminJDawson: Alcohol alcohol alcohol alcohol alcohol alcohol alcohol alcohol alcoho
— Adam Ja-Ghost-bi (@Adam_Jacobi) October 18, 2014
@HammerAndRails What are the odds that Burke was running around in his underwear @ home, middle fingers extended, saying, "Suck it fuckers!"
— Rawlings Yarborough (@Stabbyballs) October 18, 2014
OUR PROGRAM DOESN'T NEED ANOTHER FUMBLE IN OCTOBER DAMN IT.
— Juan Crespo (@Air_Force_Juan) October 18, 2014
Purdue. Scoring. It’s a thing now.
— CornNation (@CornNation) October 18, 2014
I like a good hug "@BTNBrentYarina: That was a hug drive for Purdue there. It needed points, and it got them."
— Jumbo Heroes (@jumboheroes) October 18, 2014
@HammerAndRails just finish one freakin time
— Courtney (@Cschroedercj) October 18, 2014
Go sit in a corner, Richards, and think of what you've done.
— Juan Crespo (@Air_Force_Juan) October 18, 2014
@HammerAndRails Appleby's legacy could start right here, right now. I believe the kid is special. Let's see it. #BTFU #Purdue
— David D (@purdueboiler83) October 18, 2014
Might not be today, but eventually, AA has to win a game on a drive like this.
— Boiled Sports (@BoiledSports) October 18, 2014
@HammerAndRails Here's hoping that 3 years from now we'll be saying "Remember how the Austin Appleby era began in that Gophers game?"
— Keith Lewis (@cinciboiler) October 18, 2014
@HammerAndRails Well, for most of this game I forgot that I was a Purdue fan. Now, I remember that all so familiar pain. Just another Sat.
— Rawlings Yarborough (@Stabbyballs) October 18, 2014
@HammerAndRails the difference is a cheap shot from one of our senior "leader". That's it.
— Michael Harvath (@BoilerBandsman) October 18, 2014
Being a Purdue fan never comes without lots of pain and suffering
— Riles (@Riles23) October 18, 2014
