Is Purdue's football class full again? We're a week from national Signing Day and Purdue once again is up to 19 players with the commitment of Cedric Dale, a 5'8" 167 pound running back from Hebron High School in Lewisville, Texas:

Dale is listed as a running back, but Purdue has recruited him as cornerback. He is a 2-star player according to Rivals, a 3-star according to ESPN, and a 3-star according to Scout. I liked what Scout had to say about him:
Is the go-to-guy on his team and they find a number of ways to get him the ball. He plays running back and will get snaps in the wildcat. His biggest strength is a quick burst and open field elusiveness. He has good first step acceleration and is extremely slippery as he works his way to the outside to break big runs. He has good hands and that will make him more complete college player, because he is slightly undersized as a RB or CB prospect.
With the transfer of Armstead Williams and the loss of Chris Jones to Nebraska Purdue was down to 84 used scholarships before Dale committed. Purdue is now full again, even though a JuCo offensive tackle is a big late target:

If I had to compare Dale to a current player it would be Ricardo Allen. Both are undersized corners that play with a chip on their shoulder, and Purdue needs guys like that. Here is some video:
