We now pause in the middle of everything football to announce some important basketball news. First, Trevon Blueitt of Indianapolis' Park Tudor High will make an official visit on September 7th to Purdue:
The 6-6 Bluiett, who cut his list to Arizona, Butler, Indiana, Michigan, Purdue, UCLA and Xavier earlier this month, has scheduled a visit to Purdue next weekend, a source said. The Boilermakers host Indiana State in a football game on Sept. 7.
Bluiett is making a visit to UCLA this weekend and he only gets five, so you have to assume that Purdue has made his top 5.
Second, the Big Ten finally got around to releasing the Men's basketball schedule for the coming season. Here it is August 28, almost two months away from when exhibition games start, and they are just now releasing the Big Ten schedule.
