41 Days To Purdue Football: Tylor Foster

A little known senior walk-on is today's player.

The last No. 41 that had much of an impact on the program was also a walk-on by the name of Mike Conway, who returned a blocked punt for a touchdown against Northern Colorado in 2008. Today's player is a similar type, as he is a walk-on relatively new to the program.

Tylor Foster - Sr.

Schererville, Indiana (Lake Central HS)

6'1", 215 pounds

Linebacker

2013 Projection: Special teamer of reserve at linebacker

Foster is surprisingly a senior that in his second year as a walk-on. He joins David Yancey and incoming commit Gelen Robinson as a player from Lake Central High School in northwest Indiana. There is even some footage from Tylor's playing days:

Of note is that Foster is a Civil Engineering major, earning a particularly tough degree while paying his own way to play a little football. There is not much more information out there, so I'll finish by asking you to simply look for Tylor on the field this season.
