Surprise, surprise! Purdue has announced another kickoff time and it is a Noon one! Purdue and Indiana State in the home opener at Ross-Ade Stadium will kick off at noon on September 7th, marking 1,920th Band Day in a row that carries a noon kickoff.
The game itself will be carried on Big Ten Network, which again, is not much of a surprise. Purdue and Indiana State last played in 2006 when no defense at all was played by either side and the Boilers won 60-35.
We now know the kickoff times and TV networks for hte following games;
Sept. 7 Indiana State - Noon - BTN
Sept. 14 Notre Dame - 8pm - ABC/ESPN
Sept. 28 Northern Illinois - Noon - No TV announced yet.
I would be the next TV time announced will be the Cincinnati game, which is now in the American Athletic Conference (a.k.a., the Conference USA All-Stars featuring UConn). I am not sure if they have a TV deal in place yet, but it is probably ESPN.
