The second of Purdue's three players that left after the 2012-13 season has found a home as junior-to-be Jacob Lawson announced earlier today that he will go closer to his North Carolina home. Lawson has decided to join the Mountaineers of Appalachian State, where he will undoubtedly be a secret weapon if they ever played Michigan.

Lawson will play for former North Carolina player Jason Capel, who is 44-49 in his career and has been the Appy State coach since 2010. This past season they were 15-16 and 10-8 int he Southern Conference.
Lawson must sit out a season as per NCAA transfer rules, but will have two years of eligibility left once he is ready to play in 2014-15. He joins a young team that will have just three seniors on next year's roster
