2013 Indiana High School Basketball Regional Pairings

New, comments

The 16 regionals are set for Saturday, March 9.

The final 16 in each class (minus the three sectional finals being played Monday night) are set. Purdue commit Bryson Scott is still alive in Class 4A with Fort Wayne Northrop and I will be on scene Saturday as they take on New Haven and Notre Dame recruit V.J. Beachem. Class 4A No. 1 and defending state champ Carmel takes on No. 8 Kokomo in the other semifinal, so a victory for Bryson's team would have him face off against the defending champ or a team that already beat his this year.

All three games at Marion could be rematches. Northrop beat New Haven 71-66 on December 21, Carmel beat Kokomo 54-46 on January 12, and Kokomo beat Northrop 65-61 in overtime on February 22.

Purdue target Jalen Coleman is also still alive in the Southport Regional for Cathedral. If he should reach the final and both Kokomo and Northrop lose at Marion in the morning I may check him out in the night game.

The three smaller classes still have a lot of talent alive too, so it makes for the best day of the year in terms of seeing the best players play. Here are the full pairing for next Saturday.
