2013 Big Ten Postseason Awards: Terone Johnson 3rd-Team All-Big Ten

A few Purdue players gather some postseason honors.

The Big Ten Postseason awards are out from the coaches and media. Not surprisingly, the honors were few for a Purdue team that finished under .500 overall and was 8-10 in league player. A few players were recognized, however.

A.J. Hammons - The big man was placed on the all-Freshman team with Kevin Ferrell, Gary Harris, Glenn Robinson III, and Sam Dekker according to the coaches. There was no media all-Freshman team

Terone Johnson - TJ's closing streak got him onto the Third-Team All-Big Ten team according to the coaches, where a tie for the final spot gave that team six members. Brandon Paul, D.J. Richardson, Christian Watford, Roy Devyn Marble and Trevor Mbakwe were also on the third team. He was also honorable mention by the media.

D.J. Byrd - Byrd was an honorable mention selection from the media, so he was on at least one ballot.

Dru Anthrop - Anthrop was Purdue's selection for the Sportsmanship Award.

The SBNation awards will be out later. I am waiting on two ballots from other blogs.
