Recruiting Roundup 2/13/13

Hello ladies and gentlemen of the free world. As we get closer to postseason high school basketball, I wanted to put together a quick summary of the rankings for Matt Painter's 2013 recruiting class. Sectional draws for the Indiana high school basketball tournament happen Feb. 17 so expect some more detailed write-ups following our recruits as they play their games. Unfortunately as many of you know Kendall Stephens will not be taking part in Illinois postseason basketball as a result of his shoulder surgery (insert overplayed Ray Lewis/deer antler spray joke), although he plans to be ready for camp in June.

I've included a few links for the rising Smotherman which I found interesting, most notably the excellent write-up by Scout's Brian Snow and also a highlight video from his game against a highly ranked Hamilton Southeastern, where he put up 27 points while eclipsing 1,000 career points.
