And there was much rejoicing as Purdue finally decided to join the rest of the college football world in having permanent lights. Obviously this is not a definite announcement that the lights are on their way, but it is finally a step in the right direction as Morgan Burke sees the writing on the wall of 10 conference opponents with permanent lights and the three without them giving them serious consideration.

It makes the most sense to install these whenever the South End zone project gets underway. After all, if there is going to be construction at the stadium we might as well go full bore.
