Maryland-Eastern Shore at Purdue Gamethread

Purdue has a last home tune-up before the games get much tougher.

USA TODAY Sports

This had better be an easy one. If Purdue struggles tonight with the lowly Hawks of Maryland-Eastern Shore then we have major problems. if it somehow becomes a loss, well, I don't even want to think about that possibility because this is one of the worst teams in Division I.

Let's think about happier quirkier things. For example:

  • Walk-on Neal Beshears has the most experience of the four walk-ons, but he is the only player on the roster that hasn't scored this season. Let's see if he can remedy that tonight.
  • Travis Carroll is the team's top three-point shooter by percentage (he is 1-for-1), tied with Bryson Scott (he is 4-for-4). Can Travis match Bryson? Let's find out!
  • Can Sterling Carter and Kendall Stephens get on track?
  • If Purdue reaches 100 points and the 100th point is on a dunk by Carroll I will be every Twitter follower a Taco.
