It has been a rough weekend, and it will officially become known as the Thanksgiving weekend massacre if Purdue loses today to Siena. consider:
- Thursday Purdue played an awful first half before coming back to challenge No. 5 Oklahoma State, cutting a 23 point lead to four before losing.
- Friday Purdue led Washington State by 10 at halftime before playing its worst half of the season in a loss to the Cougars.
- Saturday the football teams completed a 1-11 by leaving the Bucket in enemy territory.
No Purdue is in the 7th place game on ESPN3.com against a low-major it has already beaten. This is not a resume win. It is a chance to avoid a bad loss.
