2013 Old Spice Classic: Purdue vs. Washington State GameThread

Purdue faces the Cougars out of the Pac-12 on day 2 of the Old Spice Classic.

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

We get some early morning basketball today as Purdue faces Washington State in the first game of the day down in Orlando. We also have a better idea of who our Sunday opponent will be. Memphis beat Siena and LSU beat St. Joseph's, so on Sunday we will either get a rematch with Siena or St. Joseph's. We also likely want to cheer for Butler to win the next two days too. Since we play Butler in Indy later on any strength they get from this tournament can make a potential victory later on a pretty good one.

In the end, if we play St. Joseph's now we will only miss Memphis and LSU as the seven teams in the field.

I won't be able to comment much if at all since I am on the road, but Zach should have the postgame.
