2013-14 Purdue Men's Basketball: Coaches Poll Released

Purdue is not ranked, but has 9-10 games against teams ranked in the preseason top 25.

USA TODAY Sports

The preseason poll for the 2013-14 College basketball season is out and it gives Purdue quite a few chances to face off against ranked teams. The Boilers are not ranked, but they have a game against No. 2 Michigan State (February 20) two against No. 9 Michigan (January 30 and February 26), two against No. 10 Ohio State (December 31 and February 8), one against No. 12 Oklahoma State (November 28), possibly one against No. 13 Memphis on December 1, two against No. 21 Wisconsin (January 25 and March 5), and one against No. 24 Indiana (February 14).

There are also games against Iowa, Illinois, and possibly LSU from the "Others Receiving Votes" category. That makes 11 to 13 chances for what would qualify as a quality win, not to mention anyone else who raises their profile and does well.
