Purdue news and Notes for December 10.

If you read Twitter much, you'll inevitably see that Purdue now inferior to Indiana because they won a National championship in a sport that Purdue doesn't even sponsor. I saw one that was like, "24 National championships, which is 21 more than Purdue". Of course, it is easier to win titles when your school sponsors 24 varsity teams and Purdue has a Big Ten low 18. Also, eight of those titles come in a sport Purdue doesn't even have, while the other 16 happened 25 years ago or more, while at least two of Purdue's three have happened in the last 15 years. Facts are hard, however.

Remember, these count because they are in the past, but Purdue's numerous Big Ten basketball championships don't count because they are in the past.

Anyway, as we live in a world where we're inferior for these reasons alone here is some news to make us feel better:
