Pretty straightforward here:
- Notre Dame is in the National title game no matter what, and they have earned it. If Pittsburgh wins next week they will have beaten 10 bowl eligible teams, which is quite impressive. They also have wins over the possible Pac-12 and Big 12 champions.
- The winner of the SEC championship will be their opponent. With Oregon not making the Pac-12 title game they cannot leapfrog the SEC champ. Kansas State won't move past them, either.
- As for the rest of the poll, I am high on Northern Illinois and Kent State, especially since we're likely going after Dave Doeren.
