Boilermakings Introduces A New Contest

Win tickets and airfare to Purdue's bowl game, or A bowl game, at least.

As you may have noticed, Hyundai has been a major sponsor of Hammer & Rails this season through the blogpoll and the GameThread sponsorships. This is because they because they love college football. And they love college football fans. So much that they're going to send one of you and a companion to the game of your choice, with airfare and hotel. How do you enter? Easy: just do what you do best - be a fan in the comments. The topic here is simple: why are you - are we - such loyal, committed fans? College football fans are the most dedicated and loyal fans there are; tell us your story, and if your comment is the best one, you'll be selected as a finalist for the contest. As a finalist, we'll talk about why we're crazy about Purdue in a featured post. If our conversation is selected by the judges as their favorite? You're going to whatever game you want.

So yes, if you want to be in on this contest all you have to do is comment away and say why you're such a masochist dedicated Purdue fan. Given the current state of the football program I know anyone that is still on board is obviously as dedicated as possible. I'll select the best comment here as the H&R finalist and that local winner will be in a featured post with me that will be judged for the Grand prize throughout the network.

Now, onto the Boilermakings:
