Greg Gary Expected to Fill Final Assistant Coach Vacancy

Greg Gary
Greg Gary

Matt Painter is expected to hire former Duquesne assistant coach Greg Gary to replace the coaching final vacancy.

Gary, who is from Anderson Indiana, brings 17 years of D1 coaching experience to the bench.

@JeffRabjohns mentions my favorite aspect of the likely hire:

Purdue has an all-Indiana bkb staff with Greg Gary (And. Highland) joining Jack Owens (Indy Washington) andMicah Shrewsberry (Cathedral)."

Gary should be a great addition to Matt Painter's coaching staff. His experience should will prove valuable as he has a very extensive (and diverse) coaching resume.

See Gary's coaching resume  after the jump.
