I wanted to bring back some Boilermakings news because one Purdue athlete deserves a ton of recognition for his accomplishments. David Boudia won his fifth career National Championship last night, this time on the 1-meter springboard. He is striving to become the first diver in NCAA history to win all boards at the same meet, and it is his final meet for Purdue. he will forgo his senior season next year to train for the 2012 London Olympics.

Behind early in both the preliminaries and finals, Purdue's David Boudia rallied to the win the 1-meter diving national championship, his fifth career collegiate crown, on the opening night of the NCAA Championships Thursday.
