Cradle Of Quarterbacks Open Thread

It is not often that Purdue has quarterbacks facing each other, but that is what we have tonight when Curtis Painter and Drew Brees face off in New Orleans. It is the first QB vs. QB battle we've had since Brees faced Kyle Orton with the Bears a few seasons ago. That game had no playoff implications, and this one likely does not for the Colts.

So sit down, put your feet up, and enjoy as Purdue lead for "Most starts by a school at quarterback in the NFL" grows by two more with Painter and Brees. Since Orton has been exiled tot he bench by St. Tebow and Painter is headed back to the bench when Peyton Manning returns, it may be awhile before we see a Purdue quarterback take on another Purdue quarterback.

Because as much as I like Robert Marve and Caleb TerBush, I don't think they are facing each other in the NFL.
