There are no new commitments this week, at least as far as I know, but our current commitments were in action all over the country. Several are also still limited because of some minor injuries. The most disturbing news concerns Randy Gregory. As we'll see in the following updates, he has not exactly had the best attitude off the field.
A.J. King - WR - Seffner, FL (Armwood HS) - While I like King's junior teammate as a future member of our offensive line, King was once again limited this week.Armwood won 38-6 over Tampa Bay Tech, but King was once again out with a knee injury he suffered in late August.
Russell Bellomy - QB - Arlington, TX (Martin HS) - Strangely, Martin had a bye week this week after last week's 58-48 win over Flower Mound. I did find the home page for Martin high's football team. They even have his cumulative stats for the season.
Brandon Cottom - ATH - Newton, PA (Council Rock North HS) - Cottom continues to rehab an injury suffered on the first play of the season a few weeks ago.
Randy Gregory - DE - Fishers, IN (Hamilton Southeastern HS) - The reason that Gregory had no defensive stats from last week was not a good one. He was serving a one-game suspension for a minor hazing incident. He returned this week to have six tackles and a sack in HSE's 42-18 win over Lafayette Jeff.
Robert Kugler - TE - Pittsburgh, PA (N. Allegheny HS) - North Allegheny had a nice 27-0 win over Upper St. Clair this weekend to move to 3-0. Kugler had nine tackels and a sack in the victory.
Taylor Richards - DB - Lake Mary, FL (Lake Mary HS) - Friday's update on Richards was an impressive one. Lake Mary lost to Oviedo 21-17 this week, but the Orlando Sentinel did not post any stats or a story.
Michael Rouse III - DT - Flossmoor HS (Homewood Flossmoor HS) - H-W won this week 42-7 over Lincoln-Way Central to move to 3-1. Rouse did not have a mention in the article.
