This is one of my favorite profiles to write. Today's featured player is one that may never see the field, but he has put in hard work for the past three seasons doing whatever is asked of him in practice. He'll never be a star at Purdue, but I am proud to feature him here today.

Offensive Guard

2010 Projection: reserve at guard
Barry joined the program as a walk-on prior to the 2007 season. He redshirted that season, and has yet to play during his first two official years of eligibility. It looks like this year will also be one in which he doesn't play. Barry is a guy that came to Purdue for an education first. He is majoring in management and had an incredible 4.2 GPA in high school. A lot of schools showed him interest after his junior season in high school.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to find much more information about him. He seemed to be a pretty hot recruit at the time he was going through the combines, but things simply didn't work out.
