There isn't much of an update today, as Mrs. T-Mill had minor surgery this morning and I have been helping out with that. That will delay the Michigan State preview until next week as I finish it up. In the mean time, the first coaches poll has been released. It is no big shock that Purdue does not even appear in the Others Receiving Votes category. We face #6 Ohio State, #14 Oregon, and #23 Notre Dame in the top 25. People are railing about how hard our schedule is, but is it really that bad when the two teams from our own conference that we miss are also ranked? Michigan State, Illinois, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Minnesota all received at least one vote.
After seeing this, I decided to post my firs blogpoll ballot of the season as well. There are a few minor changes, but it is still pretty close to this top 25 except in the final five slots. Feel free to comment away and make a case for changing it before it goes final.
