This open thread is being set up to go automatically, so I hope it doesn't interfere with the football thread if the game is still going. James and I will be at the game, and T-Mill is generous to lend us the SB Nation Camera, so we will be able to provide our own highlights of the game by Sunday. I don't know about James, but I'm still stuck in 2010 with a non-smart phone, so I will just be tweeting during the game (@Air_Force_Juan), but I won't be able to reply to most tweets (I only get notifications if someone I follow tweets at me).

Purdue is coming off its 3-1 win against Northwestern last night as Illinois won in Bloomington 3-1 as well against Indiana. The Illini have been a bit disappointing this year coming off their National Title run last season before they lost to UCLA and starting the season #7 in the nation. But just like Purdue, all of their loses have been against teams currently ranked in the Top 20, causing them to fall to #21 this week. Illinois will be seeking a big win tonight as they play Purdue, but Purdue also wants to continue it's momentum, though not pretty, after its 3-0 B1G start this season.
