The Purdue football recruiting class of 2013 has roughly 10 spots open

It looks like Safety Austin Long from Tallahassee, Florida will don the old gold and black during his college career. He is rated as a three star prospect by multiple recruiters and last year the junior DB racked up some impressive stats.

Purdue picked up a recruit at a major position of need.

Purdue has a few open spots int he class of 2015, and it is never too early to start looking.

Parker Cothren, a defensive end prospect out of Alabama, verbally committed to Purdue on Tuesday. The 6'4", 250 pound DE comes from Hazel Green HS, where he recorded 72 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, six sacks and three forced fumbles last year.
