Most basketball arenas turn off the lights and have a big light show as the home team runs out onto the court and/or introducing the starting line-ups. However, Mackey Arena had not done this over the years because the old lighting system could not be turned off/on quickly enough to allow for this. But with new LED lights in the arena, Purdue can finally add some "flair" to its pregame. For those who weren't in Mackey this weekend, we recorded it during the game on Sunday against Vermont.

Earlier this week, T-Mill had the pleasure of interviewing Roy Johnson, the voice of the Purdue "All-American" Marching Band, who is retiring after nearly 40 years of service with the band. Yesterday, the AAMB and Alumni Band honored Roy at the half. Make sure you check it out.
