Alex Criddle, the utility offensive lineman, has entered the transfer Portal.
Latest entries to the transfer portal this evening:
— 247Sports Transfer Portal (@247SportsPortal) December 5, 2019
WR Jason Heller: Utah
DT Alex Criddle: Purdue
OL Jace Mallory: Old Dominion
QB Jonah Fitzgerald: Old Dominion https://t.co/XyefDX4fQ7
Criddle joins Tyler Hamilton as the two Boilermakers in the transfer portal.
Criddle appears to be a graduate transfer. He was announced during the senior day tribute, so the assumption is that he will transfer and be able to play immediately.
Hats off to Alex. Criddle was recruited as a guard out of high school by Hazell. He was a 2* prospect but appeared in 6 games as a freshman. In 2017 he did not see the field in jeff Brohm’s first season.
In 2018, he was academic all B1G and appeared in 8 games as a reserve.
This season he was forced into action at LG for an early season experiment, as Purdue lacked depth and Alex had played it before. By the end of the season he was back on the defensive side of the ball.
Thank you, Alex. Best of wishes at your next stop!
