Bobinski Talks Purdue Athletics

2

There was an article released by the News Sentinel out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mike Bobinski talks about the challenges and the things he's done since he's become the Athletic Director for Purdue. He talks about humility and how it can be a handicap. He talks about firing Hazell (needed to be done). There's also a process that he went through when he fired Hazell, he went to both Mitch Daniels and the Board of Trustees to inform them of the decision he wanted to make. There's also mention about how Baylor U was going after Brohm. Sounds like he's really embraced the Purdue community and the Boilermaker mentality (work hard and it'll pay off). I'm happy with this hire and what he's done thus far. I cannot wait to see what improvements he will be pushing!
