We have more tipoff times to announce for the 2016-17 Purdue Men’s Basketball season! today the complete CBS and ESPN schedules were announced and they were very kind to Purdue. Overall, Purdue will be on the ESPN family of networks 14 times in during the 2016-17 season. That means even less BTN+! Purdue also gets the call to CBS at least once, with some late season games that may be shifted.
The CBS appearance will be Purdue’s first regular season appearance on CBS in four years.
Here is how they break down:
November 30 at Louisville (ACC/Big Ten Challenge) - 7pm ESPN
December 6 vs. Arizona State (Jimmy V. Classic) - 7pm ESPN
December 17 vs. Notre Dame (Crossroads Classic) - 2pm ESPN2
January 5 at Ohio State - 7pm ESPN/ESPN2
January 8 vs. Wisconsin - 1:30pm or 4:30pm - CBS
January 24 at Michigan State - 7pm ESPN/ESPN2
February 4 at Maryland - Noon ESPN/ESPN2
February 9 at Indiana - 7pm ESPN2
February 18 vs. Michigan State 4pm ESPN/ESPN2
February 25 at Michigan - TBA ESPN/ESPN2
February 28 vs. Indiana - 7pm ESPN
The remaining four ESPN family games are ESPN3 games against McNeese State, NJIT, Cleveland State, and Morehead State early in the season.
In case you are wondering, only one regular season game is going to be on BTN Plus and that is December 21 vs. Norfolk State. All other games will be on Big Ten Network with the exception of the two Cancun games, which will be on CBS Sports Network.
