From a GBI Public Article - Interesting QB Selection

This is from an Gold and Black (Rivals) Public (free) article and I find it interesting that Blough is the QB rep, not Appleby. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, maybe Appleby was off campus or some other reason. The rest of the article is on the GBI homesite and is interesting and encouraging as well relative to the training.

"Growing leaders

"That group Hazell had at his house? Members of the "leadership council" that the team's coaches chose largely in January, Hazell said.

Hazell didn't have such a group in his first season with the Boilermakers but has since met with an established one about four times, he said. This group, comprised of multiple positions and wide-ranging eligibilities, will be the same for the rest of the season, he said.

It includes: Danny Anthrop, David Blough, Ja'Whaun Bentley, Anthony Brown, Grant Ellington, Paul Griggs, Jimmy Herman, Jordan Jurasevich, Knox, Robert Kugler, Michael Mendez, Evan Panfil, Jake Replogle, Ryan Watson, Frankie Williams and David Yancey.

"We discussed issues, the Gelen (Robinson) issue, we discussed how the locker room is, how we take the field, music, just a lot of different topics we discussed," Hazell said. "I'll try to do it more often now because they give you some good information, they really do."
