Reserve wide out Aloyis Gray is planning to transfer.

The former 3 star quarter back turned wide receiver is leaving West Lafayette. When Purdue recruited the dual threat quarterback from Pike, he was part of a recruiting class that featured four quarterbacks. Out of those four only one hasn't switched positions, and that one is Austin Appleby. Other quarter backs from the class include: Robert Gregory (QB -> RB -> Saftey), Bilal Marshall (QB -> WR) and Aloyis (QB -> WR).

As a wide out he was buried on the Purdue depth chart. Behind players like: Deangelo Yancey, BJ Knauf, Danny Anthrop, Cameron Posey, Dan Monteroso, and Shane Mikesky. He hasn't seen the field as a wide receiver very much, if at all. Having not caught a pass in his college career, he will probably be transferring to a smaller school.

I personally understand him transferring. He was recruited as a quarter back, not a wide out, and will probably look to go somewhere, where he could be a dual threat quarter back. Wherever that is I wish you the best of luck Aloyis. Boiler up!
