FanPost

To the players:

I will be shocked if no one on the team reads a Purdue blog like this. So maybe we should have this fanpost dedicated to them, and we just say what we would say to them as if they are in front of us? Here's mine:

To Terone: Thanks for the 4 years. I love your heartfelt Senior Day speech. All the best to whatever you choose to pursue.

To Taco: I always love seeing how you hustle. I feel a connection with you b/c I play just like how you play. I am not the most talented, but I make sure I give my full effort.

To Sterling: Thank you for the IU memory. All the best in your recovery.

To Peck: It's great to have you this year. Too bad we can't have another year of you.

To Hammons: Big fella, don't go to the NBA now. *DOMINATE* next year. Lead us to a FF. This will increase your draft stock and gives you the best chance to be drafted in the 1st rd for guaranteed money. You don't wanna go undrafted or 2nd rd.

To Ronnie: I truly believe that you can be the best PG in the league. I really do. But the real question is, do you wanna be a great winner, or do you wanna be a great scorer?

To RayD: I've said it many times, but I really feel like you can be as good as Cuonzo. Just develop a 3-pt shot like Zo, and be a strong leader for us next year.

To Jay: Sorry it ends this way. Get healthy, and all the best to you.

To Basil: I love your efficient play!! Stay aggressive, and I look forward to you being our version of Oladipo.

To Bryson: I love your competitiveness. I look forward to seeing you channeling that drive and be our next Chris Kramer.

To Kendall: Your shot is a beauty to watch. Can you teach me how to shoot like that? How would I practice?

To Toyra and all the walk-ons: Thank you for being in the team. I very much admire your dedication to basketball. You guys truly play for the love of the game, and I love watching you guys.

To Coach: I am always a big fan of you. It seems that things are taking a toll on you. I hope you can refresh, and reignite the passion and lead us to the Final Four. Obviously you know more than I do, but the old saying is right: people don't care how much you know unless they know how much you care. Show more love to your players, and really care about them. In return, they will love you and listen to you more.

To everyone: Thank you.
