I wish I could think about basketball right now, but...

I wish I could think about how terrible our basketball team was last night, but I keep coming back to the tragic death of one of my classmates. I wouldn't say we were "friends" but I interacted with him frequently in class and I can't think of a smarter, kinder, more genuine person. Rarely can you get such a clear picture of someone's personality from such limited exposure, but this guy was truly a nice person.

Everyone copes their own way, I coped by writing a song. The pictures included are from my four years at Purdue, I'm sure you can figure out the dates by some of the games featured in the slideshow. I'm not a "musician" and I've never really shared my work before, but if anyone can gain some comfort from this video then I want them to see it.

I'd bet that many of you are in the pictures that I took during basketball and football games. There is also a very good chance that Andrew is in those same pictures, as he was a Purdue sports fan. But don't look for him, and don't look for yourself. Everyone whose heart bleeds black and gold is in every one of these pictures. We are Purdue.

I love Purdue, and I love all of you fellow Boilermakers. Ever Grateful Ever True.
