Seriously?! Nebraska over Purdue?!

I find this piece of news rather disappointing,

http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/mens-basketball/harriman-turns-down-purdue-offer/article_96106492-fbaf-11e2-87d9-0019bb2963f4.html

#1: We are even less attractive than Nebraska as a basketball coaching destination!?!?

#2: Although if we offer Shrewsberry's salary, which is 20% less, then I can't blame the guy for rejecting. But we are paying even less than Nebraska to assistant coaches? What happens to all the resources that Painter supposedly got?

#3: I have to admit though, I have no idea assistant coaches are making $200k! Even Harvard MBAs working on Wall Street begin at $150k base or so I thought.

#4: None of our own (Cardinal, Lowe) is as good as this Nebraska guy? (Not that it is a big deal, at the end of the day we always want the best man for the job, regardless of background, just that ALL ELSE BEING EQUAL, I'd prefer a Purdue connection)

#5: For Painter to make not only one but two attempts to get this assistant, Harriman must be pretty good. For Painter to miss twice though, sadly, Painter must be pretty bad :-(
