What's going on Boiler Nation? Long time reader somewhat new poster. Since we have a dead period where we don't get a whole lot of news about Purdue, I thought it would be cool to kinda look back and ask all the regulars who post here (Looking at you Georgia Boiler,Bornnwestlafeyette, Charlespig, Tmill, and others) What is your all time favorite Purdue Moment? Here's Mine.
I was a freshman in High School and was in the band for My High School in Indiana. Annually The All American Purdue Marching Band holds a band day where high school bands get to join them on the field at halftime for football games and play a few songs. I was more into playing sports than watching and had never been to a football game higher than the high school level until that day. The first thing I remember...... How loud the stadium was and the chant "Boiler Up" and "One Two Three Four First Down" being chanted. Then going on the field to play with what I still consider the best college band in the land ( Yeah bucknuts I said it) was a feeling I'll never forget. It made me fall in love with Purdue University.
Sadly I had to take the junior college route so I never got to go to school there, But that moment my freshman year I knew I would always look in on the boilers and cheer for em wherever I ended up. So that's it peeps. What your favorite Purdue Moment? Put it in the comments below.
