Glynn Watson

I haven't heard much about this kid here on H&R, but ESPN seem to think we are in the drivers seat to land him.

According to ESPN Insider

"2015 PG Glynn Watson (Westchester, Ill./Saint Joseph High) shined over the weekend at the Under Armour Invitational in Arlington, Texas, and a report today indicates that Purdue could be the team to beat for him."

“I think they (Purdue) are coming at me the hardest,” Watson said. “They are looking for me to come to their school and they think I’d be a great point guard for their school.”

AND

"Loaded with instincts to facilitate and score while committing to playing defense"

The brief article went on to say Purdue is currently his only offer but IU, Illinois, Marquette and Xavier are interested.

Also here is a link to a ESPN clip where former recruit Bates-Diop is mentioned along with Waston. Worth noting in this clip is that Watson is the younger brother of former Illinois guard Demetri Mccamey.
