Its just better to be a Purdue fan

Saw an article today and it brought out a lot of pride in my Purdue fandom today. I read today that Oregon is doing a self-imposed 3 year probation for infractions under Chip Kelly for the past years. That pretty much explains why Chip Kelly left to the NFL! He knew what was coming and decided to dodge it before it rained down on him! It reminds me of how Pete Carroll cheated his way thru USC and then left for the NFL just in the nick of time. It reminded me of how Calipari cheats everywhere he goes and gets those schools put on probation. It reminded me of how IU cheated under Sampson and had everyone leave the program they were so disgusted with what was going on. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that we can take pride in the fact that Purdue is not having to deal with any of this these days. We can take pride in the fact that we are pretty much just better than everyone else because we are above cheating. There is a certain amount of arrogance that comes with being a Purdue fan - you aren't some bandwagon fan of a dirty program who has no ethics/morals. You want Brandon Dawson that bad MSU? Fine. Buy him out. We certainly wont. You can deal with him punching his teammate later!

I'm extremely proud to be a fan of a program that does it the right way. We dont need our coaches to cheat until they are about to get caught and then leave for the pros. We dont need our coaches buying out players. We dont need our coaches berating opposing assistant coaches after a game just to get camera time.

Boiler Up!
