Tomorrow our Lady Boilers open up in the NCAA tournament against Liberty. They are tall and have won a lot of games. They usually play zone. If they start out with 3 post players we might start Chantel Poston rather than Dee Dee. They may have more height but our Senior tandem of Sam O and Drey will present a lot of heart, effort, and experience. Taylor Manual will come off the bench and push people out of the way. I look for us to go inside, let them collapse, then kick it out for a jump shot. C-Mo, KK, Drey, and April are all capable three point shooters. Hitting outside shots will open up some inside opportunities in the post. We will play tenacious defense. I haven't seen Liberty play so I don't know where they are at athletically. I have to believe our experience and speed will win out in the end. This game won't be easy, but our team has been through a lot and I look for us to come out with a lot of fire and energy. We can't take anyone for granted, that is obvious in the NCAA tournament. But we are peaking at the perfect time and we just don't lose in the first round. We should have a lot of fans there as well. It will be exciting to see how April Wilson does in her hometown.
