FEEL THE CBI EXCITEMENT! Western Illinois-Purdue GameThread

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

The first ever CBI game in Purdue history is tonight at Mackey Arena.

So here is your first ever CBI Tournament Open Thread. We know that a victory tonight assures the Boilers of a game against Santa Clara, likely in West Lafayette on Monday. I say likely because there were barely over 1,000 fans at the Santa Clara-Vermont game last night and Purdue can absorb the cost of hosting much more easily.

There are other first round CBI games tonight as teams we could meet in the semifinals or finals. North Dakota State is at Western Michigan, Tulsa is at Wright State, Richmond is at Bryant, and Texas is at Houston.

Well, we're in this thing. We might as well win it.
