Try to follow this logic. Purdue women's bb dominates the Big Ten Tournament and comes on strong to end the season, after a rough February. We dealt with viruses, injuries, slumps, etc. and came out of it to come on strong into the NCAA tournament. So Charlie Creme in his bracketology at ESPN projects us as a 7 seed while Penn State is a 2 seed and Nebraska is a 3 seed. So we are punished for a bad loss at IU, while Penn State is not punished for a bad loss at Wisconsin. We beat Nebraska on their own court then dominated them in the BTT. They have what, 2 less losses than us and Penn State has 3 less losses. I realize body of work is important, but this is quite a disparity. I fully expect our seeding in the NCAA tournament to be in the 4-6 range. We are ranked 21st and that doesn't register as a 7 seed as our RPI and SOS are pretty high. Seeding be damned I am expecting us to play hard and do well in the tournament. We're probably not a final four team, but a sweet sixteen or elite 8 is not out of the question.
