Rather than split up the conference games into the first nine games and last nine games, I included the WVU game since it was wedged in the middle of conference play.
Terone's 3 point shooting
First eight conference games + WVU game 8-26 (30%) from 3
Last ten conference games14-35 (40%) from 3.
Terone's improved outside shot has really started opening things up in the lane for Ronnie and Ray Davis and also opened up better looks outside for Byrd. Having more than 1 outside threat is huge for us going forward in my opinion. Purdue's offense has really taken off the past 3 games: Scoring 69 vs Wisconsin(which is like 80 vs most other teams), 75 vs Michigan, and 89 vs Minnesota. In this 3 game stretch, Terone has shot 42% from 3. He has improved 10% from the first half of the conference season to the last half of the conference season. This could be a great sign for him going into both the BTT and next year if he can continue his improved shooting.
