Statsheet.com is currently projecting Purdue as a number 1 seed in the CBI Tournament. The CBI Tournament has a history of taking sub .500 teams. The five past champions are Tulsa, Oregon State, VCU, Oregon and Pittsburgh. In 2008 Oregon State was 13-17 entering the tournament and went 6-1 (the championship round is a best of 3 series) to finish the season at 19-18. It would be nice to see this young Boiler team get 4 or 5 more games.
