Dru Anthrop - Two-time Academic All-Big Ten and now the only father and son duo to be part of Big Ten Championship teams with his father, John, Dru earned his way to a scholarship after being a walk-on for two seasons. Dru is the stereotypical townie walk-on that exemplifies hustle and grit. He was never the most talented player on the floor, but he always gave all of himself. Now, he needs to walk-on to the baseball team for the rest of this season and next season because hew as a pretty good player that won a couple state championships at Lafayette Central Catholic.

D.J. Byrd- The former Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year and another Boilermaker from birth, pretty much, D.J. is another stereotypical Boilermaker. Both he and Dru won in every Big Ten arena during their four seasons and were part of a Big Ten Championship team as a freshman. He was also a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.
